What are Intensive Outpatient Programs?
Bradley REACH’s intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) operate flexibly throughout the day. Our flexible scheduling means that kids can often remain in school for some or all of the time while they are participating in the program.
Who are Intensive Outpatient Programs for?
IOPs are ideal for adolescents who need more care than weekly outpatient appointments can provide. The IOP aims to help participants work on emotional and behavioral issues and prevent the need for higher levels of care. Each IOP program provides three hours of intensive treatment five days a week, for an average of three to four weeks, depending on patient needs.
Telehealth allows patients to participate in the program while living at home. It makes it easier for families to play an active role in their teenager’s care.
What do IOPs include?
The multi-disciplinary IOP team includes a psychiatrist, psychologist, social worker, nurse and behavioral health specialists.
Each IOP includes:
Process/Relationship Group Therapy
Group Activities
Weekly Individual Therapy
Weekly Family Therapy
