Rhode Island schools connect students to telehealth therapy through new partnership with Bradley REACH. Remote learning was just one pandemic-motivated trend that shook up schoolkids’ lives. Increased rates of mental health issues was another. Could Zoom help kids better cope?

After all, teens spend a lot of time staring at screens. The average 13- to 18-year old enjoyed eight and a half hours of daily screen time, according to a 2021 report from Common Sense Media. Psychiatry is a process that also takes time — lots of it, usually, and it takes even more time when it’s designed to treat serious mental disorders.
